"Staying at this old monastery is such a uniquely different guest experience! Surrounded by fantastic old architecture and history, in a quiet location, with beautiful courtyards, Italian garden and an ornately decorated old church. Staff was friendly. Dine in the courtyard which is in a romantic setting, whereas the restaurant lacks ambiance. Amazing breakfast options, dining on patio overlooking the Italian garden. The room was small, but we were happy to get a queen bed."

"An incredible experience. The hotel was tastefully designed, rooms were spacious, pool is heated and breakfast was a delicious spread. We had a great time. The onsite restaurant was also lovely. "This place is amazing! The views are spectacular. The room was perfect and the grounds are exactly what you’d expect for Tuscany. The owner is on hand at all times and is very friendly and accommodating. Our flight was delayed and we didn’t get in until midnight. He stayed up for us and talked us through the directions there. You do need a car if you’re staying here since there is no public transportation. "

"My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at Cavarchino. Our room was impeccably clean, comfortable, and had a lovely view of the Tuscan hills out the window. The bed was very comfortable. The whole property and residence has a peaceful and calm feel to it. The breakfast and coffee were tasty. We enjoyed biking while in the area and wine tasting. Would love to come back during a season when the pool is open! "

Nice food options and music on specific days Clean Cabins If you have not booked shuttle from the Figline station to this place- you may have a hard time getting a taxi from the station. "We spent a very enjoyable week in picturesque Chiusdino. Loved the little town with shops and restaurants (our tip: il minestraio!) within walking distance and great views of the countryside.
