He was more than a host, he had invaluable advice on what to see, where to go and what restaurants to eat at. Served a wonderful breakfast, based on what we told him we liked to eat. "Large room, and bathroom with balcony. Nice and convenient area to tourist hotspots. 2 small bottles of water provided. Secure building with a lift. Bed king size but was a bit hard. NO balcony furniture. NO in-room kettle or coffee maker, and no cups, dining room had a kettle we used but no cups, the fridge in our room was not working. Mold in shower."

"Highly recommended! The experience is really amazing. From a typical southern Italy family, my friend appreciated the fab traditional decorations in the shared space once entering the living room. The room is spacious with two beds. The neighbourhood is quiet. Everything is clean and well equipped. Gabriele also suggested a very nice dinner place for us which was very delicious! We will be back when visiting Palermo again :) "

They had a basket full of local treats and pasta if we wanted to cook. The place is a little challenging to find but worth it. The property is beautiful and relaxing. "Check in 3pm and Check out time is 10am. This is so bad, normally should be 12 to 2pm. Because of the restaurant that is open in the courtyard of the hotel at night from 7:30 in the evening until night, it is not possible to be comfortable in the hotel and the hotel area is practically closed after 7. But the rooms are very clean and nice. And the sea and mountain view is great. The hotel restaurant offers many good tasting dishes for lunch time"
