"This is a beautifully arranged and hosted location. It is perhaps 2 kilometers from central Florence, with a steep uphill at the end, but we walked there and back every day except the first. It's really out in the country in an apartment that is part of a big house, with its own entrance. The salon is enormous. Our hosts helped with everything we needed, including a prompt taxi on our departure day."

Onze aankomst was door omstandigheden pas na 23 uur, ik hield haar op de hoogte via what’s app en ze vond het vooral vervelend voor ons, ze bleef geduldig en vriendelijk en bij aankomst kregen we zelfs wat te drinken aangeboden en werden heel gastvrij onthaald ondanks het late tijdstip. Für Perfektionisten oder Menschen mit Reilichkeitswahn sind die Armaturen und Fliesen aus den 60ger bis 80gern sicherlich nichts. "Nous sommes venu pour la 2ème fois dans cet endroit paradisiaque et nous en sommes toujours autant amoureux. La piscine et le jardin sont parfaits, très calme et la vue est splendide. L'intérieur du logement est cosy et la terrasse idéale pour déjeuner à l'extérieur à l'abris du soleil. Renate et ses trois beaux chiens est très discrète tout en étant à l'écoute de nos éventuelles demandes. Bref, nous reviendrons, c'est certain !"

The village is friendly and welcoming with as nice bustle to it - and great coffee and beer - but at nighttime, the whole valley is extremely quiet and tranquil. The house itself is utterly charming, full of lovely things and very comfortable. The pool is amazing - very large and deep and with the most stunning views. "Einsam gelegenes Haus, nur mit geländegängigem Auto gut zu erreichen. Sehr nette Vermieterin, die selbst dort wohnt und sich viel Arbeit macht mit Bienen, Wein und Oliven. Tolles Ambiente, einfache Küche, ausreichend großer Pool, leider im August mit vielen Insekten da diese Wasser suchen. Ingesamt sehr ruhig und toll zum entspannen und runterfahren. Leider kein wlan."

"This is a lovely spot in the hills, the pool a godsend in the scorching heat. The apartment was everything we expected, ideal for a family of four. Great restaurants nearby but sadly lacking a bar/pasticceria that is reaslitically walkable. There seems to have once been one but is now closed down. Ruth and her family were so welcoming and were very helpful and easy to deal with. They left us to it but were on hand if we needed anything"

"The house is large and well maintained with a quiet garden/recreation area and an orchard of olive trees and grape vines. It is in a peaceful, secluded location near forest, but is in easy reach of local places of interest: Pistoia, Florence, Prato, Lucca and Pisa. Our host was friendly and responsive to our needs. "Rustic, clean, comfortable and very charming farmhouse with breathtaking views. We woke up to birds singing and the smell of honeysuckle. Ate breakfast in the beautiful private garden with hummingbirds and small lizards visiting. Hosts were accessible and very helpful. Everything is as pictured and worked well. 15 min from grocery store and 10 min from beach. Highly recommend!!!!!!"

"Posizione isolata, si sente solo il rumore della natura, casolare rustico, tipico della zona, solo 3 scomodità: vasca idromassaggio (complicato fare la doccia per noi che siamo abituati solo così), difficoltà di posteggio ( terreno molto morbido a causa della pioggia rendono difficoltosa la manovra soprattutto con un fuoristrada pesante), nessuna connessione internet o voce ( va bene l’isolamento per disintossicarsi ma almeno vedere le previsioni del tempo o il traffico per organizzare i giri...
