"Cette maison de montagne était charmante et spacieuse…. un rêve ! C'était propre, bien équipé et le propriétaire était gentil et a répondu rapidement. Nous avons acheté des repas, du pâté et de la confiture à Roselyn et Thiery. C'était une option très pratique et les repas étaient délicieux, à base de viande de chasse de Thiery et d'ingrédients frais et locaux. Nous reviendrons certainement. Merci."

"The setting was beautiful (Peyragude near Loudenvielle in the French Pyrenees) but unfortunately the condo was completely infested with hundreds of flies, every day I'd vacuum them from the walls, ceilings, beds, bathrooms, etc. and every day more would hatch (clearly nests are permeating the space). Pointed it out to the property manager but they made no attempts to do anything about it for our entire week-long stay. Also, they said bed linens and towels were included in the rental, however...

"Le chalet est très bien agencé , une grande pièce de vie et des chambres spacieuses , un dortoir pour enfants … l’idéal pour un séjour entre amis/famille . Également très bien situé, à deux pas de la navette menant au pied des pistes. Très bon accueil ! Seul inconvénient, le ménage de sortie n’est pas compris dans le prix (presta 150€). Une très bonne adresse pour un court ou long séjour ."

"Peaceful, remote, cosy, romantic, well equipped. This is exactly what we wanted for our mini-honeymoon in late summer. Dream view and location. Loved the two hot and cold spa baths, the comfortable bed/pillows, and the cooking utensils. Strongly recommend buying all groceries in advance, the closest shops are a 20 min drive down long windy narrow roads (including essentials - oil, salt, sugar etc.) We cooked all of our own meals, so happy to not have to go into town. "Nous avons été satisfait du chalet au niveau de sa conception, de la noblesses des matériaux et de sa vue imprenable sur les montagnes mais... À notre arrivée, nous constatons que le ménage n'a pas été fait. Cela enlève l'aspect "qualité de service haut de gamme". Une belle vue peut être gâchée par des vitres sales ! Un SPA pas clean enlève une partie de son aspect bien-être et santé. Du coup, nous avons été obligé de faire le ménage le jour de notre arrivée. Dommage... En résumé, nous sommes...

"4 días antes de salir, recibo un mensaje del dueño, al que todavía no hemos visto, diciendo que le ha fallado el servicio de limpieza y que si podíamos limpiarla nosotros por 95 € (dinero que me ha costado varios correos y 2 semanas recibir). Lo cierto es que cuando llegamos, la casa estaba deficientemente limpiada, por lo que nos quedó la sensación de que es una práctica habitual. "We loved this property, we chose this a cycling base and it was perfect. The rides nearby were peyresourde, col de portilon, tourmalet, port de bales, aspin, pla dadet, col de portet, col de azet, superbagneres. The house was beautiful, it had everything we needed, the garden was lovely and we spent many lazy afternoons watching the birds. Its very private and has a lovely path down to the river nearby. It might be near the road but you can't see the cars. The kitchen was well presented and...

"I originally planned a single night's stay but was taken ill just as I was about to leave. The hotel were so helpful as they called an ambulance and looked after my belongings whilst I was in hospital. They also arranged for a room to be available for a couple of days when I was discharged from hospital. Very helpful and nice big apartment rooms, with the river running by right out front."
