"A stunning view of the Douro valley. We had an excellent dinner. One needs to make reservations beforehand to eat there. There is nowhere else in the area to dine. We were not given a dinner option however, the roast beef dinner was excellent as well as the dessert. The car ride up is a bit sketchy because it’s a VERY narrow to lane road winding up a Mt !! However the view makes the trip most worthwhile. Bedroom was nicely decorated and comfy. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this location. Originally we were only going to stay one night but then ended up staying an additional two nights. The property was beautiful and conveniently located. The whole staff treated us like family specially Agnes. She was amazing. She was so helpful and even booked our dinner reservations one night. "Very friendly staff, my wife has mobility issues and we were allowed to park in the area for easy walking. The building itself was modern with awesome views. Very nice sitting area, pool for those who choose to swim. Large sunning area, breakfast was pretty good. The drive in from main road is an old track, slow going and tight."

"If you are looking for something extremely quiet and out in the countryside, this is the place for you! The only thing you hear is the roosters in the morning. Very charming and cozy. Our room and bathroom was very spacious with lots of room to get comfortable (2 travelers with luggage). I'll call her the host, was absolutely the greatest, very friendly and excited to have guests there, it is literally a farmhouse on a vineyard, not a typical hotel with hotel like features. "The hotel is on a square in a lovely part of town, with free parking available on the square and a street back too. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a small pool and space to lounge in the sun. The rooms were very clean and the electric blinds kept out the sun brilliantly. The staff didn't speak much english but we muddled through."

"This is an old house, with some interesting history & furnishings. It is not a hotel, it’s a B&B, with 3-4 bedrooms and the owners live upstairs. The ( ensuite) bathrooms are very dated. The ( included) breakfasts are served at 9am, but the staff are very helpful and did provide breakfast earlier when we asked.
