"Quinta Nova is a beautiful Quinta in spectacular surroundings. It is very comfortable and the service is impeccable - probably the best welcome of any hotel I have ever stayed at. The restaurant was also excellent - with enough choice for 3 fabulous meals even though the menu didn’t change during our 3 night stay. The walking trail around the vineyards is superb and a real highlight of our stay. "

"The LBV House was a great place to stay. It’s a quick drive to the main part of town. It is a short walk but quite hilly. Breakfast was delicious, staff friendly, and stay was very enjoyable. "

It was so unique to have stayed in a 400 years old cottage/villa that was renovated with everything you needed and more. It was also a museum with artifacts from many years ago, very special! "It’s hard to put into words how beautiful, peaceful and serene this property is. We stayed here for 2 nights and I wish we could have stayed longer. Staff were very friendly, food and wine delicious, and the property was truly stunning. We spent an amazing day by the pool overlooking the gorgeous vineyard. They offer a delicious breakfast and in the evenings an amazing dinner menu. I also saw a lot of reviews complaining about the narrow roads and I feel i need to clarify for anyone worried about this - the roads were absolutely fine, there are endless spots to pull over if needed. I cannot recommend Quinta da Gricha enough to anyone looking to stay in the area. One of the most picturesque spots in the whole valley. "
