Unfortunately could not get any treatments at the spa - you need to book before you come :( did not know that."

"Beautiful hotel with every amenity. My room was beautiful and I had the walk out patio and living room with separate bedroom on the second floor. The view was beautiful. Breakfasts have delicious fresh fruit and juices. I have a gluten and dairy allergy and options were sufficient. Location can’t be beat in the middle of the island and a reasonable distance to any spot to visit. Easy to park and access. Many excellent restaurants nearby. Beats having to deal with the chaos and wait times in Ponta Delgada. Pool and saunas were wonderful at the end of a long day hiking. Showers are exceptional. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Only wish they had a water station to refill water bottles. "
