"Room was still being prepared when I arrived (late afternoon) due to some sort of event the previous day, so I was assigned another room which was fine. Hotel had a nice appearance and staff at reception desk were helpful, although Hotel restaurant was closed on a Sunday, but hotel had laid on a free finger buffet instead. Area was quiet. Nice rooftop area with almost panoramic views, although all the outside tables had already been reserved. Could have done without the DJ, which conflicted with the sounds coming from the city centre."

"The village was in a lovely, quiet location, which is what we were looking for. When booking in, the receptionist told us that there was going to be a party and music up to 12 midnight. When I explained we had booked for a quiet night, the receptionist wasn’t at all helpful. This should have been mentioned on the time when we booked the room, not when we actually turned up. On the booking site, WiFi was meant to be freely available and fast in the rooms, however we could hardly get any. The problem with this was that we had been travelling by car around Europe for 3 weeks and needed the WiFi to book the next nights stay."

"This hotel was out of the center of Piacenza. As we were traveling by bike that meant we could not go into the city center easily. There were 2 restaurants located in the same strip mall as the hotel. We had a safe place to store our bikes."

"We stayed for a night on our way from Switzerland to Tuscany, very convenient stop to break the trip in two. Great location, many parking spaces, well maintained"

"Staff was extremely kind and helpful. The hotel itself was simple but did the job well. Clean and plenty of space in my room. Terrific location just a 3-minute walk to the main area."

"We were pleasantly surprised by how lovely the hotel was. Great amenities, food was good in the restaurant and breakfast was great. My husband especially loved that we could park our car right outside the room in a garage/canopy covered area. The staff in every area were very polite and friendly. Shame that there aren’t more of these throughout Europe. Highly recommend"

"The park hotel is really good. Newly furbished and really conveniently located off the freeway. Good food and shopping nearby. The reason I give it four stars instead of five is because it is so up-to-date that they can set timers on everything. For instance, the air conditioner was not stay on for more than three hours without shutting off. We could not find a way to change that. The windows were not able to be opened because of climate control. So while the place is beautiful and really well situated. It was annoying to have to wake up through the night and keep turning on the air conditioner. Besides that, I would fully recommend it."
