"For a 2-star property, I give B&B Hotel Verdun 5 stars. It is a basic hotel, but a good stop for seeing the area, the battlefields and forts. The staff is very nice. FYI, there are stairs, no elevator. The rooms are not large, but they work for a 1-night stay. Breakfast was pastries, granola, yogurt, beans, mushrooms, toast. Juice, coffee, etc. Definitely good for a quick breakfast. This hotel is outside of the city center, but it does have several restaurants in walking distance. We walked right next door to the Buffalo Grill for dinner, and were very pleasantly surprised. We are Americans, and it was our first time eating "American food"in Europe. It gave us a good laugh, we had a great dinner, and it was nice to have this option so close to the hotel. "

Nespresso coffee and Courtesy water and small juice. Reception rapide and staff very welcoming and helpful. Dine and breakfast out so cannot comment on food. One very little issue perhaps despite an excellent bathroom with all necessities, a proper shower head (small hand shower) could be useful for those who prefer showers to bath. Personally loved relaxing in a bath. Overall extremely satisfied and will recommend. "

"This property was adorable - it was like staying in a bed & breakfast. The property is right down the street from the cathedral as well as the main square, and there are plenty of restaurants and shopping options in the area. Great value!"

"Superb chateau, ok breakfast could have had a cooked option (like scrambled eggs), lovely location for the view and peacefulness. We had the tower room which was lovely, lush sitting outside looking at the views or at the chateau. Fine dining but im a bit fussy with my food. "
