"We had a great experience with the stay. The room was just above a street across from shopping. The building is historical and has SO MUCH character. Or room was very cozy and the staff was amazing. "Location was good a responsiveness to questions was excellent. Took a little bit to figure out how to get in the building then in and out of our room, but we figured it out. Mattress and pillows were much harder than we are used to. Overall a good value for the money and I would recommend. We felt safe. "

Hint wear clothes to answer the door 20mins to Vatican 20 mins to Colosseum $$12 Euro train station . Use GPS to get around Fun trying to find the entrance to this hotel. On 2nd level "

"Very nice hotel right on Campo De’ Fiori. Great air conditioning, comfortable beds , nice bathroom. There is even an elevator for reaching the top floor. As others have mentioned, it’s a little hard to notice for the first time because it’s wedged in between two restaurants."

"The room was okay, a bit small for two people. Room number 25 they only served cereal and package bread for breakfast which was included. The area was pleasant and ample places to eat and dine. We were within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. Ie: Trevi fountain, Vatican, coliseum, and the steps. All in all was a good couple of days spent in Roma. One thing though I found Rome very dirty. "

"Our stay here was fantastic! From initial contact by both Hotels.com and the staff at La Mongolfiera everyone ensured that we were well cared for. The room was beautiful and cleaned daily and when assistance was needed after hours the the response was prompt and provided exactly what was needed. The location was ideal close to everything but just off the main streets so a little quieter when needed most. There was also a great café just outside that is a must visit as well.
