"Six lady golfers stayed at Big Sunny and traveled to Gainesville to attend the Solheim Cup. We golfed at Shenandoah Valley Golf Course. We enjoyed the house very much. It had everything we needed. It was well supplied with all the extras! Nice to be in walking distance to restaurants and shops."

"This house is perfect for a big group. The owner and neighbor were very friendly and location was great for visiting local caverns. Took about 20 mins to get to skyline caverns and 45 mins to get to Luray caverns. Front Royal town is about a 15 min drive to get supply's. House was a new listing and I did give the owner some feedback on improvements since he asked for them. Great stay and would stay again!"

"We loved the grounds and the house was perfect, homey, roomy and had everything we needed. It was a short walk to the winery, there's a lovely creek in the back and we loved hanging out outside on the back patio with the fireplace as well as inside the house. There was room for everyone and so peaceful! "

"This was a lovely renovated and updated farm house. The beds were comfortable and the house was well equipped. We were there during a horrible heatwave and the A/C was a delight!! Only item that could be improved is the addition of blackout curtains in at least a few of the bedrooms. The house is white in all rooms and very bright. Take a sleep mask! This is a a lovely home."

"The description and pictures of this house are very accurate. It was clean and one of the better houses we've stayed in, especially since it is pet-friendly. It is small, but it was perfect for just the two of us. The Downsides: 1. As others mentioned, the sofa is not very comfortable. 2. There are no TVs in the bedrooms. 3. "Looking for getaway with parents that was easy to maneuver with downstairs master bedroom and step in shower. Luckily, we already had the 4wd and everything else was just treasure! The hosts are so generous with what is supplied at the cabin and contact was plentiful to make sure every need was met. Furnishings are comfy and we enjoyed the screened in porch listening to nature -the hot tub was an added delight. Didn’t want to leave. I’m sure in the Fall it is gorgeous! Thank you again!"

"We enjoyed a quiet weekend here to celebrate our anniversary and loved the layout of this space. The kitchen was well-equipped and the living areas are clean and modern. Our favorite area was the outdoor fireplace and patio with mountain views. In addition, the hosting was top-notch! Clear check in/out instructions, easy to reach, and they curated every detail!"

"Cabin was ideal for our family of four, easy access to Shenandoah for hiking, would recommend the nearby kayak rental center as well to spend some time on the river. "We can't say enough about this beautiful property. We planned our trip so we could spend some time together as a family before dropping our daughter off to JMU. The house is beautiful, the views are spectacular. It's a very peaceful location, but also close to many breweries and wineries. We enjoyed the fenced in back yard for our dog, Neo. He was in heaven too. Doug, the proprietor, was wonderful & accessible. We can't wait to come back!! "
