"We stayed overnight and ate in the restaurant. All rather hit & miss. Room was clean & comfortable. The problem was it was poorly ventilated & very stuffy with no air con - a fan helped but it was still difficult to sleep. Not helped by being unable to turn off the bathroom light - I guess it used a motion sensor but it was a good 10 minutes before the light went off. Tended to disturb sleep after visiting the bathroom at night. Much the same with dinner. The langoustine starter was...

"Clean rooms, one room however an electric blind didn’t work and as the reception closed at 8.30pm made it difficult to sleep early morning. We didn’t stay for breakfast. "

"Excellent séjour. Un accueil sympathique et des services au top. Petit déjeuner exceptionnel."

"Accueil était super et convivial! Le gîte était très agréable et surtout très cocooning!!! Le petit déjeuner était hyper copieux. Notre hôte est très serviable et professionnel."

"Family friendly welcome! Edith and Jean- Francois are the perfect hosts. Breakfast is excellent in the bright dining room overlooking the beautifully kept garden. We have a little dog and he was made really welcome too. There is a wonderful swimming pool and sun terrace and a jacuzzi. A perfect place to have as a base to visit Normandy, or simply to relax. We booked a ground floor room with easy access to the guest kitchen and the garden to walk the dog through the garden down to the Lac de...

"A wonderful location; friendly and accomodating staff. The restaurant is a must try!"

"We were there for one night only, our anniversary. We had a lovely time, lovely location and very helpful staff. Really enjoyed the balcony looking out on to the fountain roundabout."

"The room was clean with tea/coffee making facilities. A good view of the town. The attached restaurant was very nice, as was the food. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh with fresh bread, cheeses, coffee, juices, cold meat selection, jams, yoghurt. Very nice. Bathroom very clean and heating was very welcome on a very cold day."

"Lovely peaceful location enjoyed my stay"

"Quite new jotel, not far from city centre. Good level of comfort, friendly staff. Good food."

"What an absolute gem of a place. Beautiful location, calm peaceful with lovely gardens. A short drive from Alcenon which has a selection of excellent restaurants A first class continental breakfast provided by the fabulous hostess. A selection of beers and wines available for purchase. Great value for money highly recommend we will definitely be back."

"Accueil bâclé et particulièrement peu aimable, ce qui donne malheureusement une mauvaise impression dès l’arrivée. Nous n’avons à aucun moment eu le sentiment d’être véritablement accueillis comme des clients. La chambre était propre et convenable, mais il n’y avait à notre arrivée ni savon ni shampoing. Nous avons dû les demander à deux reprises avant d’en obtenir, ce qui est assez surprenant pour un établissement de cette catégorie. Le petit-déjeuner était correct, sans être remarquable,...
