La Roche-Posay is a little village located in the centre of the French region of La Vienne. Its world fame is due to its Selenium-rich spring water, which is particularly beneficial to the skin.
The legend of the spring has it that Bertrand Du Guesclin, high constable under the reign of Charles V, discovered the La Roche-Posay springs on his way home from Spanish campaigns at the end of the 14th century. He stopped at the spring to quench his thirst. His horse, which suffered from eczema, plunged into the water and came out cured.

"We had a great time, with our family of 5 (3 kids) in Peuliard. Beautiful, well equipped house, nice big garden for the kids. They loved the pool and the swing. Enough fun activities to do in the area, but also a great place to relax and enjoy the peace and quietness of the French countryside."

Tout est bien pensé pour faire de grande réunions d'amis ou de famille.Seul petit bémol sur l'appareillage électrique de la maison qui est à la norme du Royaume-Unis, donc pas facile de brancher nos appareils sur les 2 seules prises de la maison au format UE. Il serait bon de le préciser sur l'annonce afin de prévoir les adaptateurs nécéssaires."
