"We had a wonderful stay at this home. It is in the beautiful picturesque town of Cauterets. The home is clean and comfortable and the views of the mountains were spectacular. We stayed 3 nights and hiked 2 days, one to Lake Gaube which was a beautiful alpine lake. The second day we hiked from a trail head within walking distance of the home. Etienne gave us recommendations for a nice restaurant right at the waterfalls. But we missed lunch service by about 30 minutes. Would definitely stay here...

"Nous avons utilise ce chalet comme base pour une semaine de vélo avec familles et enfants. Nous étions au maximum 9 adultes et 5 enfants à coucher mais jusqu'à 15 adultes et 7 enfants pour les dîners! Jamais il nous a semble nous marcher sur les pieds ou être a l'étroit. Nous avons particulièrement apprécie sa situation avec Cauterets à pieds et son arrangement avec les 3 zones de couchage séparées et surtout les pièces à vivre isolées et accessibles de l'extérieur qui permettent d'isoler...

"It's a large house in a quiet, but accessible, location in the mountains a few km from Cauterets. The road up is bendy, but very good. The house is spacious and has a big living/eating/kitchen area which works very well. Bedrooms are also good and there are plenty of bathrooms. We didn't use the sauna but we made much use of the newly-installed jacuzzi outside - a great way to end the day under the stars!"

"Nous avons eu la chance que la neige tombe à notre arrivée......Dans l'annonce il est signalé que les pistes de ski se trouvent à 1 m.....alors que ST Lary est à 3 kms.....un arrêt de bus non désservi se trouve en bas du village. Sinon satisfaite."

Un Merci tout particulier à Christina qui a été aux petits soins avec nous, faisant preuve d’une grande réactivité et d’une gentillesse et d’une amabilité exceptionnelle. "Clean, bright and friendly staff.... an ambience of home. Situated in a Condo-like complex just at the edge of chaos of shops and people. Room is spotless, spacious with a kitchen and fridge to cool Grotto water for your daily drink. One event I witnessed from my room window: an elderly couple was rushing out to catch a bus upon check-out. Hotel Manager Florence gave chase under a drizzle, and the old gentleman was hurriedly rushing back after realizing something they left behind only to see Florence in the middle of the road handing him the item. Just a priceless glee on the man's face. A great place run by very caring people. Thank you Florence and Tess for a wonderful stay. I will come back. "
