"While the exterior appearance of the hotel was tired, the interior was great. Room was spotlessly clean and large even for three people. Breakfast was fresh with a large selection. Staff were very friendly and looked after our bags after checking out. Perfect, basic hotel room for an overnight transfer. Grazie"

"First time in Italy and we wanted our hotel to feel like a home base and ultimately unforgettable. I cannot say anything bad about this hotel, the bathrooms were amazing, strong water pressure, great toilets and having the dual patios was a great surprise. The view from our patio was breathtaking every morning and evening. I even heard the waves crashing from our hotel room… talk about heavenly. The restaurant at the hotel was also amazing and the views can’t be beat. We were a short walk to downtown and essential stores like the pharmacy, tobacco store, cafe. It was a short walk to the beach where you can either sit on the sand or pay 5 euros for a chair and umbrella. We rented a car and had no issues parking or finding the location (we used google maps). The staff were friendly and very helpful, most spoke English. We booked the superior sea view room and I would definitely be booking here again without question!! As far as Location, Views and overall Room quality it is definitely the best in Tropea, hands down. "

"It was a very, very good hotel, I can only recommend it. Very friendly staff, especially Frederica and the cleaning staff are very polite. The facility is clean and the breakfast is good. The dinner on the other hand is relatively expensive and a little more upmarket. (but you have to try the cheese cake – its very nice :)) We would love to come back"

"This is an elegant property with service amenities from a bygone era. The room was spacious, well appointed and comfortable. Ample parking was safe and available. We enjoyed our meal onsite restaurant, and enjoyed the provided breakfast the next morning. Sadly we were unable to take advantage of the nice weather poolside as that part of the property is being renovated. All in all a pleasant stay."

"What a beautiful property, with a lovely pool area, and buffett breakfast with coffee baristas, and hot egg dishes on request. I'm guessing the breakfast room doubles as a bar for the pool. Entire property looks brand new."
