Whimsical Creekside Cabin

Escape to our cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains! Fall asleep to sounds of Little Mary’s Creek, enjoy your coffee on the wrap around deck, or delight in exploring your own 7 acres in the forest. Our cabin is a cheerful, clean cottage to come home to- or decide to spend your days on property splashing in the creek and sitting out by the fire pit.

We invite you to embrace our simpler way of life where we wholeheartedly believe that life is to be enjoyed and not endured.

The space
Our cozy cabin is a new build that celebrates our relationships and planting roots in Virginia.

It comfortably sleeps 4 with a queen bed on the main level and 2 single beds in the loft. We are happy to accommodate a 5th guest on a trundle bed in the loft for an additional fee. Please note that the loft is accessed by a mounted ladder with a safety railing, which may not be suitable for all guests.

The eat in kitchen is fully stocked to prepare all of your meals. The bathroom features shampoo, conditioner, local goat milk soap, and a soothing shower.

Unplug, explore, read from a carefully curated selection of books, or play a number of favorite games. Turn on the tv upstairs to enjoy a number of movies.

Our cabin is on the side of the mountain with some steep terrain and lots of natural elements outside to discover. The creek has a small swimming hole where you can splash and explore.

Cell phone service is very limited.

There is no Internet at this time.

Note that in all of the beauty and serenity of nature, there can be dangers. Please be aware of your surroundings- and remember that we share this amazing property with insects, plants, and animals that are native to the Blue Ridge Mountains.

My kids and I wanted to do something special during our midwinter break from homeschooling, so we booked a cabin. We were so lucky to find this one! It has a creek and is nestled in the woods like something out of a dream. We were very comfortable and had everything we needed. We actually had to stay two extra nights due to snow, which worked out fine. Alicia is an excellent host!

We take vacation in October every year and its or unplug, unwind and relax in nature vacation. Your cabin is absolutely beautiful and welcoming. The nights were chilly but we slept so well. This cabin was soooo cute. It was cozy and so peaceful. The creek meanders beautifully just outside and you can hear it from the bedroom. It was very clean and it is a close drive to Crabtree Falls, which was a challenging and gorgeous hike. My spouse and I loved it and will probably book again!
