"We spent one day and night at this hotel. Beautiful view of the Whiteface mountains. Very home like atmosphere. Nice rooms with everything you need. Owner of the place very nice and helpful. "A quaint hotel with a lobby that had a beautiful view of Mirror Lake with large floor to ceiling windows. It was within walking distance to Lake Placid. The staff was friendly and helpful when we presented a small issue with our shower, they sent some one to repair it right away. Breakfast was a plus with various hot and cold options. There were snacks available during the day in the lobby, with coffee and fresh cold drinks all day. There were board games, cards, etc… for couples or families to enjoy in the lobby as well as plenty of outdoor seating to see the lake up close. The bed was comfortable and housekeeping took care of our linens daily. We will definitely visit again. "
