"The home and property are beautiful. The sounds of the river and creek are so peaceful. There is a railway nearby and we enjoyed the sounds of the trains as well. We spent the majority of our time on the covered porch. The thing I enjoyed most was the fireflies. I haven’t seen any in years so it was a special treat."

"We are local and vacation on Lake Martin every summer, and this is one of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed. The house is cozy and has everything you need, the water access is perfect. We brought our kayak for our teenagers, swam, and fished (caught two blue gill). The grill and picnic area are nice. We had Canadian geese came and swam with us every day we were there. We will definitely stay here again."
