"Such a great location and wonderful staff. The building is a little older so if that bothers you dont stay there. Other than that I would love to return next time I am in Venice beach for sure the boardwalk is 10 feet away from the Hotel."

The city itself is quaint. Kind of a bohemian vibe. The beach is a homeless enclave. You'll very a contract high just walking the boardwalk, which is not a big deal, just be prepared for it.
