Venice home is on a lake in a quiet neighborhood close to beaches, golf, restaurants, and bike trails running along the side of the intracoastal waterway. A large community pool, club house, and small boat ramp is also available for launching a kayak, canoe or row-boat into a small river leading to a park. Dogs OK. A spectacular view can be appreciated overlooking the pool and directly beyond the lake taking in a variety of birds making this area their habitat. A large semi-circular driveway provides several parking spaces. GARAGE SPACE IS NOT AVAILABLE due to a car currently in storage. With plenty of additional storage space, the garage stores: beach chairs, coolers, tools and car cleaning supplies, all available for use. This house is also our 2nd home, so you will find a limited supply of spices, refrigerated condiments, laundry, and general cleaning supplies. Nearby are small strip malls containing a Publix food store, Walgreens, gas station, Italian deli, and more.

Quiet neighborhood perfect for morning or evening strolls. The whole neighborhood was very friendly, and people would wave as you walked and drove by. We really enjoyed the wildlife around the lake and beautiful sunsets as the lanai faces west. The location is an easy 2 mile bike ride to Main Street Venice and The Legacy Trail. The farmers market on Saturdays is so wonderful with 100 local business’s selling their crafts and food. Angelo’s italian market and restaurant close to house is a must!

in overall a beautiful home. it needs TLC and a new property Management company. The price value was awesome, especially if you have a family that's a beautiful home. neighborhood is very kind and absolutely safe. Sorry Bob !

Our stay at this home was perfect. The neighborhood is quiet and tucked away, yet close to all amenities and beaches. The house is equipped with whatever you would need. The furniture is all very comfortable. The pool so relaxing and enjoyable. The owner was easy to reach and communicate with. The lawn care was done regularly. The pool cleaner came weekly and kept the pool looking great. I would definitely stay here again. This house is absolutely one of our favorites.

Bob was very easy to work with in the home is very nice and spacious. Our circumstances were unique because the hurricane Ian and just hit when we were due to arrive. They didn’t get power until a couple days later so our arrival was delayed. Had an issue with the pool heater a couple days into our stay. Overall this is a great home and a good neighborhood and would absolutely stay there again.

Stayed for three weeks and we had a great time - very quiet neighborhood with beautiful mature landscaping on a lake that is somehow connected to the gulf/local river. Pool is large with a deep end and comes with a bench to sit submersed on one end. Everything that we needed from pool floaties to beach chairs to paper products was available to us - all very well organized. Would definitely stay again.

We very much enjoyed our first trip to Venice, and the house was the perfect location and fit for all our needs. Walking trails, Old Town access, amazing beaches close by - including dog friendly Paw Beach Park a little over three miles away:) And at the end of the day, wonderful to end up back at this house on water and just listen to all the birds and wildlife. Unless of course it was a pool day, where we were able to just hang by the beautiful pool and just chill. Bob was attentive to all our needs - and I would highly recommend this escape!

This was a great way to spend February in a Nicely laid out home so we could enjoy the beautiful scenery of the lake with countless flocks of all different types of birds and sunsets. Well equipped home for cooking, going to the beach, or just hanging out by the pool. The town of Venice and beach’s were a short drive away and we loved the friendly atmosphere where ever we went. Owner was quick to respond to the few questions we had and we will be back!

Dieses schöne Haus war unser Heim für 2 Wochen und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war alles vorhanden, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt gebraucht hat, angefangen bei Gewürzen, ausreichend Geschirr, Gläser und Kochtöpfe bis zu Strandliegen und Sonnenschirmen. Die Nachbarschaft war sehr ruhig, die Nachbarn sehr freundlich und die Umgebung wunderschön. Man konnte von der Terasse viele Vögel beobachten. Ein Publix- Supermarkt ist 5 min entfernt und auch diverse Strände und anderen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten sind mit kurzer Fahrzeit zu erreichen. This nice house was our home for 2 weeks and we enjoyed it very much. Everything we needed was available beginning with spices, sufficient dishes, glasses, pots and pans as well as beach lies and beach umbrellas. The neighbourhood was very quiet, the neighbours very friendly and the surroundings beautiful. Sitting on the terrace you could watch many birds. A Publix super market was 5 min away and various beaches and other excursion possibilities could be arrived in short driving time.
