"Not as advertised. Phoned to arrange check in but no one spoke English. Finally got a customer to translate who advised to come at 5 to check in (half an hour later than advertised). "We stayed 2 nights at this lovely hotel. Full of character, warm and cosy on chilly weekend in March. The staff were friendly and helpful and were made to feel very welcome especially by Massimo on our arrival which was quite late evening. The small town of Calolziocorte is very pleasant and the location of the hotel by the river is lovely. "Wemtend to be bottom feeders, so stayed in Griante rather than Bellagio. Our hotel turned out to be, not a hotel, but a two bedroom apartment with a great view of the lake. Apparently the Como Vita has places all over Griante.
