"Lovely gite in a lovely area. We particularly enjoyed going to the port to read in the shade and enjoy a drink in the bar/restaurants. Plenty to do and see in the local area with La Rochelle and Bordeaux within 90 minutes to go further afield. Jo was very welcoming and helpful, being only 20 minutes away if needed"

"Fabulous 3 bed gite with a large pool, air con, fast wifi, outdoor games and UK tv channels. Great for families. Handily placed - 30mins to Royan, 40 mins to Cognac, 50 mins to Bordeaux. Catherine, the hostess, couldn't do more for us. We had a great time (despite the weather) and would heartily recommend this idyllic, quiet get-away."

Zudem gibt es eine geräumige Terrasse. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. WLAN funktioniert tadellos. Das Haus war sehr sauber. Ein toller Ort für einen schönen Familienurlaub. "Not a lot to add to the full suite of 5 star ratings. Nicholas was extremely helpful throughout , he provided a comprehensive guide of local attractions of which there are many and quickly resolved one minor snag arising of no particular consequence. All in all very , very good"

"This is a lovely well equiped property situated in a quiet area close enough to local shops to walk (through the beautiful vin yards) and beaches only a relatively short drive through lovely scenery. We had a wonderful time and would recommend to anyone. The host was very approachable and easily contactable"

"Check in was simple via a key press. The owner spoke a little English which helped. Had to purchase magic sponges to clean the pool to prevent yellow line build up! Local shop within walking distance had everyday things handy. Bit too far to walk to the beach through the woods which meant cycling or the car. Overall very nice place."
