"Beautiful hotel with spacious room. Had a lovely day at the spa downstairs where the staff even helped me rebottle some facial oils so I would be allowed to take them on the plane. Front desk was very accommodating with recommendations for food around town. Would love to stay again."

"I recently stayed at the Hotel Mercure Nice Promenade and had a mixed experience. On one hand, the hotel itself is wonderful. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Nice, and the room was spacious, clean, and modern, providing a very comfortable stay. Unfortunately, our first impression was ruined by a very rude check-in experience with one receptionist. She struggled to find our reservation, eventually finding it under my first name instead of my last name. She then insisted that the room had not been paid for. When I tried to show her my booking confirmation number and payment receipts, she completely dismissed my attempts. Once she finally handed over the keys, she never went over hotel amenities, breakfast hours and location or any other guest services. Aside from this initial encounter, all other hotel staff were friendly and helpful throughout the rest of our stay. While the property and the rest of the team are excellent, the frontline customer service during check-in needs serious improvement."
