"Excellent séjour chez Juana et Olivier. La zone réservée à notre occupation est spacieuse et propre. La décoration est très soignée et la piscine fort agréable. Merci encore pour la mise à disposition du parking qui nous a évité bien des soucis. Nous recommandons ce gite."

Attractive villa in Caleta de Vélez with private pool

"Hemos disfrutado mucho de nuestra estancia. Queremos destacar especialmente la **amabilidad, cercanía y confianza del anfitrión**, que en todo momento estuvo pendiente y nos hizo sentir muy cómodos.Además, tuvo el detalle de permitirnos **quedar unas horas más el día de la salida**, lo que nos vino fenomenal para poder aprovechar el día hasta la hora de nuestro vuelo. Es un gesto que agradecimos muchísimo.Por poner algún pequeño aspecto a mejorar, la piscina no estaba del todo perfecta, aunque **se podía disfrutar y bañar sin problema**, y la televisión no disponía de canales en español.En general, **una estancia muy agradable y un anfitrión muy atento y de confianza**. Sin duda, agradecemos mucho el trato recibido y la flexibilidad que tuvo con nosotros. Si podemos, repetiremos sin dudar."

"The villa was excellent with plenty of indoor space for the 12 of us. It was very well equipped with many extras included such as dishwasher tables, toiletries and barbecue coal. There are two washing machines and two dishwashers as well as lots of fridge and freezer space. The air conditioning made it very comfortable for sleeping. The outdoor space was adequate and the pool quite small but perfect for cooling off in! There are several outdoor eating areas and a large terrace upstairs for sunbathing!The position of the villa was good with lovely views of the mountains and sea from the upstairs terrace. The walk into town was ok because it is down hill! The walk home is more challenging but the taxi was only 5 euros. The town is buzzing in the evenings with lots of interesting shops, bars and restaurants. The beach is lovely and the sea wonderful!Jose, the host went above and beyond expectations to make our holiday perfect. He was always available and responded to our requests immediately . He made restaurant reservations for us, arranged on line food shops and his knowledge of the local area and places to visit impressive. He even arrived with wine (and sweets for the children) to celebrate our daughter’s wedding anniversary!I would certainly recommend this villa for a large group to enjoy a very relaxing Spanish style holiday."

"La communication avec Matthias, notre hôte a été très facile. Il est très accueillant et réactif dès que l'on a besoin de quelque chose. Petit chemin en terre pour arriver à la location. Chalet lové dans la végétation, très au calme. La piscine est juste au-dessus. Elle est grande et belle. Une autre maison se situe au-dessus de la piscine sans vis-à-vis. Séjour vraiment très agréable. Très bonne literie et très grand lit. Proche de restaurants et supermarchés. Le mieux est d'être en voiture malgré tout. Très grande plage au bout du chemin, prévoir des chaussures à certains endroits."

"The hotel is well situated, just off the pedestrian street and about 2 lines back from the beach promenade. There are plenty of bars and restaurants around. The room was clean, spacious and had a good size balcony overlooking a side street. The reception staff spoke excellent English and could provide information if needed. The only small negative point is that the tea/coffee supply is a “welcome gift” and not necessarily replaced. Definitely worth making “friends” with housekeeping!! We will happily return."

"Room as advertised small balcony with high quality sliding door and rolling shutters looking at the beach. Furniture was well-chosen and useful for rolling suitcases. Safe, TV, wifi, elevator,quiet. Breakfast nice fresh bun for bocadillo. Fresh-squeezed OJ, proper espresso machine. No parking. If arriving by car you will have to hunt for a spot in the abundant free city lots that at the wrong time can be very crowded."
