"First time staying in a hotel in Torre del Mar although we have been visiting the area for 34 yrs. Very clean hotel, functioning 2 lifts, never a long wait. Staff extremely helpful, an ideal no fuss stay. Great location in this lovely small bustling seaside town especially if you don’t want to walk far to the excellent restaurants, tapas bars, cafes. The impressive promenade and beach are just 2 minutes walk away and the surrounding pedestrianised areas have a variety of small independent shops. We stayed for San Juan fiesta in a room overlooking the front entrance. Noise wasn’t a problem for us even if you do count the seagulls! Expect to park free a fair distance away from the hotel in Summer as the population grows or pay for hotel parking, I think €20 per day? Nearby blue zone parking payment was confusing but it could have been lost in translation. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay and would visit again."

Large house, ideal private heated pool for family vacation

"El Patio Andaluz was stunning and spotlessly clean, even better than the pictures portrayed. Juana and Olivier are wonderful hosts, never intrusive, just welcoming and always there if needed. They have crafted a very natural, beautifully decorated, quirky, colourful home. The kitchen had all we needed to store, cook and enjoy our meals. Our bed was so comfortable and it was lovely to have a morning coffee on our sunny patio overlooking the pool. We loved all the little nooks and comfortable sitting areas. The star was definitely the pool and surroundings - plenty sunshine, luscious plants, heated pool and beds. And very pretty at night with tasteful lighting.The house was in an excellent location to explore Velez-Malaga with only a short walk to shops, restaurants and sites of interest. Wonderful to stroll through the immaculate picturesque streets and enjoy tapas and a wine at one of the many cafes, bars or restaurants. The town is also ideally situated to travel further afield and explore this area of Spain. We can highly recommend the area, town and most especially El Patio Andaluz."

"Tolles Chatlet auf einem wunderschönen Anwesen. Ruhig gelegen und doch nur einen kleinen Weg zum Stand. Der gepflegte Pool hat das gesamte Bild abgerundet. Unser Ansprechpartner auf dem Gelände war sehr freundlich und immer um unser Wohlergehen besorgt. Wie würden jederzeit wiederkommen."

"Room as advertised small balcony with high quality sliding door and rolling shutters looking at the beach. Furniture was well-chosen and useful for rolling suitcases. Safe, TV, wifi, elevator,quiet. Breakfast nice fresh bun for bocadillo. Fresh-squeezed OJ, proper espresso machine. No parking. If arriving by car you will have to hunt for a spot in the abundant free city lots that at the wrong time can be very crowded."

Villa 5 bedrooms near beach with private heated pool

"José was attentive and helpful from check in to check out, including helping with an issue with our supermarket order and giving suggestions on where to eat with a large group. This villa is perfect for a large family group or group of friends (as we were) as it's split across 3 levels. Basement bedroom next to the games room allows for noisier guests to do their own thing without keeping the rest on the second floor up.The villa has 2 balcony areas as well as the pool garden area, so no shortage of outdoor space to do your own thing or all sit together. It is on the top of a large hill so the balcony gets nice sunset views over the sea, but worth bearing in mind for groceries if you don't have a rental car, although mercadona deliver The heated pool was perfect, clean and very popular with our group. A key part of why we chose it was because it was heated so can be used later in the year as we went in October.We bbq'd for our group of 11 on 2 of the days and the BBQ was up to the task All in all a great stay, would happily stay with José again next year "
