"Live like a local, in the thick of things, yet in a house that is quiet and cool. WE stayed in end of June, and swam every day among the bees smothered lavender. the house is close to Como, Milan, and Varese, and had everything we needed for our stay. The owners are very nice, and were around when we needed things. Lots of grocery stores, and restaurants close by. "We took our adult children, spouses and one year old granddaughter to Italy to be able to spend time together. Gretchen was a marvelous host. She communicated with me in advance to help me arrange a boat tour of Lake Como, gave lots of info about surrounding area, restaurants, and shops. The Villa and grounds are very impressive. Large, beautiful, accommodates a large group and yet child friendly. Bonus, handicap accessible. Hope to return again some day!"

"We stayed here 4 days in May. The views are as advertised- as spectacular as any you can find around Lake Como. The house is solid, tucked into the hillside. There is a spacious balcony to relax on, have a meal and enjoy the views. The bed was firm but comfortable. The shower worked well. There is a large TV for Italian shows. There is a downstairs terrace with lots of seating and a good view. We didn't spend much time there but a larger group would have enjoyed that spot too. The yard is...

"We had an emergency with our son who was stranded in Italy for 2 days before we were to arrive. Manuella graciously arranged to allow our son to stay there for the two days before our arrival. Renato, her property manager was wonderful to deal with. A very nice home but not very close to the metro or trains but there is a bus I think. We did have to buy paper towels and toilet paper while there for 3 days. Highly recommend them."

"Beautiful villa nestled in a quiet edge of a small town. Comfortable with a large pool and great outdoor areas! Paola met us and took us through everything we needed to know and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Central for touring Lake Como, Milan, Valpolicella, or areas south. We did have a chef in for two nights dinners and that was awesome. I would recommend this nice villa!"

"Totally exceeded our expectations. Bright, spacious apartment with more than enough scope to self-cater if you wanted to. The bonus for us was that it was so central, literally minutes to all we came to see! There was some noise from the trams but we had expected that as we checked out the location before booking - this did nothing to spoil our stay at all :) The host was super attentive and made sure we had all the information we needed for the best stay.
