It is a visually pleasing blend of historic wood and stone; the funiture is harmonious and comfortable; and there is every modern convenience. There is cozy loft sitting space on the second floor that gives the house special beauty and charm, and the outdoor back porch/eating area is breathtaking. The owners keep two pet donkeys in a large pasture behind the house. The gentle, friendly donkeys add an extra layer of fun, and a day does not feel complete wiithout giving them a treat of lettuce, carrots, or apples. Our hosts Catherine and Michel are kind, interesting, helpful, and very solicitous hosts. They will take good care of you to help you have the best possible experrience! My husband and I have stayed in many VRBO properties, and this home, together with Catherine and Michel, will always hold a special place in our hearts."
