"Afroditi was an amazing host, we had such a wonderful time staying with her in Agia Effimia. We were welcomed, shown around our room and given detailed recommendations of things to do on the island. The room was beautiful, immaculately clean and had a fantastic view of the marina. Her son, Gregory also has a fantastic cafe on the front with a discount for guests staying at the Ionian suites - the food was great. We had a lovely time, and we will definitely be back. "Panos and his wife wet were excellent hosts. They were very friendly and most helpful. The room was cleaned every day, had a small but adequate (for us) tv and a lovely, quiet air conditioning unit. A 5 minute walk or 10 minute stroll to the harbour and the tavernas. Located up a little bit of an incline but I managed it well enough even while carrying a weeks supply of water for 2 and I’m 68."

The apartments are comfortable clean and quiet, very close to the centre but set back, so almost no traffic and very quiet at night. Mirka, Demetrios and Steven are wonderful hosts and make you feel very welcome - they even helped me with some trouble with my rental car. "
