"For what it is, this is a nice characterful country home stay with strangers. However, it is not what I expected from the description on Expedia. Firstly, from a British perspective, this is not a ‘bed and breakfast’ but a hostel. The booking only includes bed, there is no personal welcome but a text message with access code for the electronic door, and other guests hadn’t received theirs so had to wait a long time for acvess. "This place is truly amazing; beautiful, quirky, quiet and old in the best possible way. The staff was very friendly and accomodating, the room was reasonably warm despite -20 C outside. I could even bring my dog! I’m coming back for sure!"

"Deta lite magiska och spännande ställe. Bjöd på mycket historia runt varje hörn. Ligger ett stenkast till vattnet och är oerhört fridfullt. Man kan höra naturen och djuva toner av cello i bakgrunden. Samtidigt man fick följa sista ljus strålarna av solen. Älskar vi detta "smultron"ställe och tyckte verkligen om de som drev detta. De fick en till att slappna av och vara bekväma. Hit vill vi tillbaka snart igen. "
