"This is a beautiful apartment and property! The views will knock you out and the place feels so beautifully historic with a gorgeous glamorous rustic design. We loved the animals that the owner had and even let them in for a visit. Someone else mentioned to bring slippers because the floor is cold and I didn't remember but do bring slippers. - It is a little bit of a drive to the town of Assisi but WOW! what a beautiful drive..In any case, we couldn't have enjoyed the place more, we hope to return next year with the other half of our family."

"At the arrival time (4:40pm) the heating was not working. My room was cold and the bathroom had no hot water. The staff came and after three and half hours, it has started working. I was moved into another room with hot water, but the heating was off. Still, the room was not warm till 8:15pm. The staff was supportive, but they should have checked the heating before my arrival. The location is great and the breakfast is offered at a small pastry (200m from the property)."

"This Hotel is only a year old and is immaculately maintained by an efficient cleaning staff. The beds are good for getting solid sleep and the showers hot with plenty of water. Breakfast was more than sufficient with wonderful Cupaccino, Espresso, ans Americana style coffees made a cup at a time."

"This was my first time in Italy and first time in Europe in 24 years. I chose this place because of the location not being close to the city and the great amenities. Located in a nice little town of 122 people with its own church next door, this hotel was perfect. Staff was extremely nice and could not have had a better stay"

"A group of us stayed at Casa Benessere to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. We had celebrated our 10th there so we knew what to expect- a fantastic property in a great location. Sarah had arranged an anniversary card as a really nice welcoming touch along with a welcome pack. Alessandro ( who looks after the property) was really great ahead of our arrival and although my Italian is Ok, I didn’t need it as his English is so good Sarah- Grazie Mille e tourneremo!"

"This is a unique property in the middle of a National Park. Yes the road leading up to it is winding and narrow and rutted but again it is in the middle of nowhere and we have driven roads like this all over Italy to get to beautiful places. Some of the outdoor areas are not as manicured as I’m sure they once were but overall the surrounding scenery more than makes up for it. The restaurant has a limited excellent menu and the team headed by Simone is very welcoming. Also enjoyed his choice of music! We found the room very clean with beautiful views from the outdoor space although the bathroom could use a refresh as quite dated. The sunsets were beautiful followed by an amazing night sky. If you love to be removed from the hustle and bustle, eat good food and drink great wine have incredible views but be close enough to Italian towns full of incredible history then you should stay here."
