"What a gem! This place is magical, beautifully designed and stunning serenity. We were blown away by the whole experience, jaw dropping views and amenities. A slight hiccup with housekeeping when we arrived but it was quickly and efficiently sorted by the apologetic staff. They were all so friendly, kind and welcoming. Food was excellent, rooms were well appointed and spacious. The whole hotel has such a wonderful feel to it. Really truly a special find!"

"Great location. Super friendly staff. Kept the rooms clean. Did I mention great location. Breakfast was actually decent. A/C could use an upgrade. Beds were reasonable comfortable."

"Hotel Contessina is brilliant. An oasis of a hotel in what is a bustling resort town. Once inside the doors you could be anywhere in the world. The design of the renovated hotel is brilliant. Modern and sophisticated, and the planting is beautifully done. We enjoyed 2 weeks here, using it as a base to discover the island when we had a car for some of the time. The main pool area is lovely, but be warned, all of the pools are 1.4m deep with no shallow / deep ends."

"Lovely hotel, clean rooms. Fantastic clean beach shallow waters ideal for the family. Pool is great. The stand out feature is the staff, at the restaurant and pool bar. They work very hard and are very attentive. The food was a high standard. It is a quiet part of the island so great for relaxing. I would recommend"

"Great family run hotel in a great location. Rooms have been recently renovated so modern, fresh, clean. I stay in lots of hotels with work and the one thing this place has done better than most is the noise proofing. Obviously it’s not silent but with the typical Greek island noise outside you don’t really hear it so well done. Breakfast is more than enough. Hot and cold items, fruit, yoghurt, pastries. Pool area is good for the hotel size, can run out of loungers occasionally but still enough room to sit on tables and chairs and room is never far away. Staff are all very friendly. The only thing that’s missing is a no room service tag to hang on the door. Saves them disturbing you when you are trying to have a lie in. Would stay again."
