He is attentive, bakes an excellent breakfast, and tells wonderful stories. He'll even pack you lunch! The rooms are very clean and well equipped. "I had an incredible stay at this lovely beautifully restored Villa. Great location with an easy walk to the seaside promenade, restaurants, shopping and the train station. From the train station you can catch the bus to Portofino. The hosts are gracious, warm and friendly. Enjoy a lovely breakfast on the Villa’s patio overlooking the sea and harbor. "

"Parking was a problem as the facility was in the middle of the city. However it really was not the owner's fault. They helped facilitate the situation."

"Nice property. Quiet location. Although we had to shuttle to Manarola to catch the train it was worth it if you want a view and get away from the hustle and bustle. Only one restaurant in the village but was really good. We ate dinner there all 3 nights of our stay. Property owner was great to deal with. Breakfast was basically bread and cereal. Would be nice to have some meat and cheese. "

"My husband and I had an amazing time! The owner and the staff were super friendly and made us feel at home! They took wonderful care of us and gave us two days which we will never forget! Super easy going, responsive, great authentic dinner prepared with love, clean room with character, Mountain View, new clean bathroom appliances and all this in a beautiful little town in the mountains! "Mauro was a gracious and welcoming host! The property, although secluded and if driving, is on top of a very winding road, is well appointed with a patio that offers a spectacular view of Lerici. The chalet was quaint as well, located at the bottom of about 50 stairs, making trekking luggage up and down a little challenging, but everything else makes up for that! There is little wi-fi, so if that is a necessity, you may need to provide your own hot spot. "

"The property was quite comfortable. The bed was firm but not hard. It had a refrigerator with a small freezer. The rooms had been well cleaned. I can recommend this place. As in a lot of the places we stayed in Italy, one has to climb a lot of stairs to access the property. "

"I selected a room in La Perla Blu to be close to train station, away from traffic and near free parking. We got there and they’d switched us to an apartment on the main square. It was spacious and clean but VERY LOUD ALL NIGHT, every night. Party and carnival noise until 3:30, Town clock every 15 minutes, leaf blowers and pressure washers starting 5:45 am. Three nights, no sleep. And only two half rolls of toilet paper for three nights. "
