Château L'escale

10/10 Excellent

"A really nice place, owner was a gentleman."

Unusual stay in a mill on the Loire

8/10 Good

"Gîte original et soigneusement décoré, aménagé avec goût. Petit bémol pour les sanitaires, un peu étroit pour les voyageurs de grande taille. Moulin idéalement situé, point de départ idéal pour de nombreuses rando en vélo !Bravo pour ce bel aménagement et merci pour cet agréable séjour !"

Le Petit Chatelier – detached country house with large garden in the Loire Valley

10/10 Excellent

"Perfect for our group getaway! The garden furniture was a nice touch, allowing us to enjoy the fresh air, With two bathrooms, we never felt rushed in the mornings, The nearby cycling paths were a fun way to explore the area,"

Hôtel de La Loire Ancenis – Restaurant Les Bateliers

8/10 Good

" I booked a twin room for myself and my son and we had a lovely meal the evening we arrived. We only had coffee in the morning before departing. My only complaint would be that the beds are suitable for children but not so much for adults. Wider quilts that cover you and hang over the bed further would have made it a more comfortable nights sleep, especially for my son who is tall and of larger build, plus extra pillows in the wardrobe for those who require them would have been appreciated. This was our only disappointment. Otherwise we were very pleased with the food and service. "
