Dragonboat festival

I raced at this year dragonboat festival which is the largest of its king in North America. Your condo was 5 minute walk to the venue.

Great condo, not so great location/building

The condo was great, enough space, pull out couch was super comfy as was the bed, washroom was clean, and smelled like cookies when we walked in. However, the location and building is not the greatest. While very close to the SkyTrain, as we got out of the taxi from the airport there was a homeless person smoking out of a glass pipe outside of the door of the building, and there were many homeless congregated around the building throughout the day and night. Building also does not have a conceirge and once you are out of your room you better have the one key fob, as you are unable to use the elevator, get anyone to help you get to your floor as the fobs only work for the assigned floor, and the front door is always locked. Overall, had a great time, but definitely be aware of it’s close location to Chinatown, East Hastings, and the Downtown Eastside. Incredibly close to Rogers Arena and BC Place though, so great for going to events.
