"The property is close to the freeway (I-405). It is convenient to get off from freeway and to get on to the freeway. Because I arrived late on Sunday night, I did not have an opportunity to visit the area for the dining options. However, it is not critical when selecting this hotel. One of the key criteria is breakfast. So, I would have it in the relaxed atmosphere in the hotel before taking off for golf outing in Tarzana (five miles away from the hotel). "We had a very nice 6-day stay here. Great hosts, great hospitality. Wish we took a picture of our breakfasts--very tasty and healthy. Plenty of places to sit outside, which was nice in the morning, but the Valley does get very hot at night in the summer. Thought there would be more road noise from Oxnard, but wasn't bad.
