This hotel is just beautiful and located just steps away from the ferry dock. It is so relaxing and the staff is incredibly welcoming. Breakfast on the balcony overlooking Lake Como is worth it alone. It’s an absolute gem.

We absolutely loved this hotel. Almost brand new, nice amenities- the lake was so refreshing on a hot day. And the staff was incredibly kind.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Rita takes very good care of you like she is your own Italian Nana. The food at the restaurant is home made by her and delicious. The rooms are nice and our view was great. It is a bit of a walk up the hill from Varenna, but nothing a cold beer won't make you forget. Overall highly recommended.

This place is amazing! The perfect place to sleep in the mountains. Trust your good GPS and you’ll find it, really worth it. We were welcomed and guided by Agostino. It was a pleasure to eat a great breakfast with all local, farm-grown products! Such a nice experience for my kids that enjoyed this place w/o TV. Fam. rooms are comfortable, cute, clean on top of that you have WiFi. I definitely recommend this place so much!

Andrea, was a splendid Host. Attentive and thorough about our itinerary and excursions. Great restaurant recommendations and advice on what to see and eat in San Pelligrino and Bergamo. The room was positively clean and amply stocked with everything we needed for a two night stay. Breakfast was wonderful and delightful, with warm brioche and \ in house made pastries and jams. When you imagine Italian hospitality at it's best you will find Andrea :) Grazie Andrea !

The staff was incredibly helpful and kind! They answered all of my questions before and during my stay. The room was pretty clean, the bed was very comfortable, and it was located in a such a great spot on the lake. I would stay here again.

We loved our stay at Villa Mojana Bellagio, it is a small luxury boutique with amazing views of the mountains and the lake. Our room was very nice and comfortable bedding, from our balcony we enjoyed a glass of wine in the afternoon and a cup of coffee in the morning with outstanding views. We had dinner at the terrace and the food from the chef was excellent. Th breakfast was amazing, there is nothing that we didn't like about this place. Our best stay of our entire trip! The place was so clean and nice looking! Oscar was so helpful and accommodating to us! A cute stay in a beautiful smaller area. Great location if you want a more quiet stay! Would 100% recommend staying here.

We booked a balcony room overlooking the Lake and WOW! We had the most romantic and unforgettable stay. The staff is so kind and generous, we will definitely stay again next time we’re in the Como area.

Gorgeous hotel with amazing views of the city. Although it is a little outside the city, you can walk (about 30-45 minutes) or the hotel provides transportation at certain times of the day.

We had a fantastic time. Albergo Moderno is quite off the beaten path, somehow we had misestimated where it was in relation to our target (it was listed as a Lake Como area property ....), but all the same a lovely experience. This is a traditional European style pensione where the proprietor prepares the meals, manages the bookings, etc. Located at the summit in Valle Imagna, the view (and drive) was breathtaking, the air lovely and the experience fantastic.

The staff was absolutely the best. Marco and Tanya in the restaurant were fantastic and very attentive. Kudos to them both!

Nice property with beautiful views. Love that our room came with private sauna. The balcony is nice to view the lake from. Convenient to walk or go for a run

Such a comfortable stay. We truly felt relaxed, and the hotel spoils you with an open mini bar with all of the San Pellegrino you want. We loved that they gave us so many drinks and snacks. The bed was so comfortable and it was quiet. The location is gorgeous and the town is truly a special, charming community. Highly recommend staying here.
