"We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days during mid-June and the pool filter was broken such that the pool was unusable during our entire stay. For a remote place with limited amenities in the immediate area this was very limiting and certainly detracted from the experience that it should have been. The staff was gracious and did compensate by providing us a free spa usage which was a welcome experience. In addition, the meals we had during our stay at the facility were excellent."

"Schöne Lage im alten Ortskern. Das Zimmer ist groß, sauber und recht schön. Alles in Ordnung somit. Wenn man am Wochenende übernachtet, sollte man sich darauf einstellen, dass es auf der Piazza unterhalb des Zimmers sehr laut werden kann und das bis weit in die Nacht. Deswegen auch nur 4 Sterne. Wir hatten an einem Sonntag eine Band die bis 23:45h gespielt hat und anschließend waren noch Gäste und Einwohner da die bis mindestens 01:00h sehr laut waren. "Thoughtful host who provided a map with suggestions for drinks and food both in local area of Sala Baganza and also on Parma. Very tastefully modernized and very clean farmhouse. Good sized rooms and bathroom with quality amenities. Very quiet and new air-conditioning. Breakfast area on patio very pleasant. Patio also has multiple cozy sofas. Will definitely try to stay again on next visit."

"Wir sind nach Italien für die Ferien gefahren, und haben in "nel borgo Scipione" nur eine Nacht mit unsern 2 Kindern (2 und 4 jährige) geblieben. Wir haben das B&B für sein Preis und seine Location ausgewählt, aber eine schönen Überraschung hat für uns erwartet! Ein altes schönes Haus mit einem wunderschönen Garten und eine sehr nette Besitzerin, die für uns (und die andere Gäste) alles selber macht! "Not suitable for under 5's as many stairways and open banisters. Well supplied linen but rooms could have been cleaner. The electrical appliances supplied were not always compatible with the sockets. Many light bulbs not working. Many window mosquito nets missing or broken. The pool was lovely and was regularly cleaned. The owner was very easy to contact and always replied very promptly."
