"Hosts were very welcoming but also kept out of our way. The house and pool are beautiful and the location peaceful. The kitchen was small but very well equipped. Our only comment was that the bedrooms were downstairs from the main living space and you had to go outside and round to get to them. This was fine for our family but may not suit with younger children. The house is very remote and a car is essential to get anywhere."

"Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Le gîte était propre et très fonctionnel. Nos hôtes ont été très arrangeants pour l'arrivée et le départ ce qui était très appréciable. On peut loger à plusieurs dans le gite sans se marcher dessus. Petites pistes d'amélioration : des couteaux de cuisine plus tranchants et je crois que malheureusement le four est en fin de vie."

"Very quiet since it's isolated from the Maillet hamlet. In the middle of the fields. So we slept very well. The garden was lovely, very green and flowery. The outdoor table and chairs were new. We could put them in the shade to eat outside sometimes when it was not raining or not too hot. There were lots of cooking utensils, plates, glasses... The washing machine is new and efficient. The listing explicitly states free WiFi but staff intimated there never had been any WiFi ever so the listing is not out of date but wrong! I would happily given this hotel five stars but for this serious omission, the geography means poor mobile network coverage especially downstairs so no WiFi is a very basic omission in 2023. Needs fixing. "
