"Spent 3 nights in room "Stella bella". Rooms have been recently renovated and are very comfortable and stylish. Location is 5 minutes away by car from nice beaches in Ile Rousse. Please note that there is only 1 aircon unit in the room, hence need to leave door open to cool down. There is also only 1 toilet for the 2 bedrooms. Terrasse is great but is a bit noisy due to road proximity. Breakfast was simple, only hot drinks, baked goods and juice. "

"Absolutely wonderful stay! The residence is brand new, spotless and beautifully designed. The apartment was very comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen that had everything I needed. "Property was great, very close to the town, easy free parking across the road and a good breakfast. Our room was nice with a big private rerrace with sun beds and a sea view. Our stay was spoilt by some of the hotel policies. We booked the room with a terrace and sea view planning to sit out in the evening with a glass of wine and a snack. There was a big sign on each room door to say no food at all allowed in the room or a 100 euro fine. Further, there were no glasses, only tiny paper cups. Glasses are not allowed in the room either. We thought we would have to make do with a cup of tea, but the kettles were taken away from the rooms due to an electrical fault in the hotel. We had to go down to the bar for a plastic cup of hot water to make our tea - bit sad really."

"I recommend a room with balcony facing the water- lovely views of the old town. Breakfast was more than adequate, although you can also walk about 100M or so to a bakery. Excellent location (easy walking distance to train station, old town, laundrymat) and would stay here again in future. Note that I had to keep my rucksack in a separate room downstairs (hotel policy) in that I had just completed the GR20- not an issue but something to know."

"We loved our stay in the Hotel Saint Erasme. Great location, slightly away from the crowds of Calvi, and about a 10min walk into town. Perfect for sunsets and drinks on the terrace, with lovely staff who spoke very good English - and pretended to understand our terrible French. We stayed in a room with a sea view, which was well worth the small additional cost. Good value for money, and would stay here again!"

"The one bedroom chalet we booked was a bit more compact than expected, but it was clean, the bed and sofa were comfy and the evening sun on the terrace was enjoyable. The onsite restaurant, "The Oranges", was lovely and reasonably priced. The site has direct access to the beach, which is dog friendly, but the closer to Calvi, dogs are banned. It's a good walk into Calvi, but very pleasant, and there's plenty going on around the marina and old town."
