"This hotel was amazing. Nestled on a hill between two beaches, the setting and views are stunning. We decided to spend all of our time here as we needed to recharge and it was pure paradise. We spend the early day at Jolly Harbour beach and watched the sunset every day at Valley Church beach. The food was amazing. The staff were lovely. They were quick to respond with anything we needed. George was super friendly and helped us on several occasions. Highly recommend this little Paradise. "

"We didn’t have AC the entire week , after going to the front desk they never fixed it. The pool bar closes way too early and no fun entertainment. Evening a singer came each night . The staff was very rude they hate their jobs with the exception of 2 . "

"The villa is exactly as described. Everything was very clean and communication with Roxann was excellent. Location of the villa is close to everything. We did rent golf carts to get around Jolly Harbor which is the way to go. Would highly recommend renting this villa"

"We just enjoyed our second stay! Mo was an outstanding host, always available with helpful recommendations and friendly interaction. The villa was clean and comfortable and everything needed was available. We enjoyed our daily swims in the clean and refreshing pool which is surrounded by beautiful gardens, birds and lizards. The outdoor patio enhanced our stay with comfortable loungers cooled by a fan. The grocery store, pharmacy, restaurant and gorgeous beaches are a 5 minute drive away. Across the street are TNA Sports Bar, The Big Lobster Head and, our favourite, The Rusty Anchor. We enjoyed the beach, lunch and Carla's rum punch at Sunset Horizons on Darkwood Beach. We look forward to staying again at a future date!M. Powers"

"Service needs attention. We had multiple issues during our stay in terms of service. Hotel is understaffed. There is no urgency in addressing requests. We have stayed is 5 star hotels around the world and this hotel is severely lacking in service. The price we paid does not match the experience we had. The beach is beautiful and we loved our beach attendant Daniel who went above and beyond. Chef at wild tamarind is great and food was flavorful. They ran out of towels on the beach, no trash can placed in our room (had to ask multiple times to get a trash can), asked for a streamer and they didn’t have one, room was filled with mosquitoes, no porter available to take us up the hill at night…the list of short comings is long. Please train your staff and hire more staff so this is not the norm. "

"Everything was amazing the villa was beautiful and clean, had everything you needed, pots, pans, utensils and so much more, the host was great, Tina the owner communicated exceptionally well. The only thing I would suggest is more sun beds as it is 6 bed, there was only 4 of us but only 2 sun beds, other than that everything was perfect."

"We we were met on arrival by Tony who was very welcoming and at the end of our stay we were allowed a late check out due to a late flight which we really appreciated.The accommodation is well laid out, comfortable and had everything we needed, the pool area was ideal after a walk back from the beach.There are glorious beaches in walking distance and also eateries such as Fox House or Big Head Lobster, we ate at both and they were excellent. We also ate at Dennis's on Fryyes Beach and again it was very good.Would love to return to Antigua and if we were able we would certainly stay at Shell Cottage, Sugar Fields again."
