"Where should I start this horrid revelation of a review at? The loss of power, wifi, water and no food. Traveling as a solo female and have travelled many times solo prior. This place is comparable to the Shawshank Redemption of motels. This IS NOT A RESORT. This place is owned by the government and they do not maintain this hell hole. The only thing pleasant there was the staff and the view and that DOES NOT INCLUDE THE FRONT DESK STAFF. No communication. Management just laughed at the issue that had been going on for days. I arrived to this. Just “you’re holding the line from others checking in” to multiple people requesting information about the whereabouts of water, food and electricity. Had to sleep with the doors open to get air. Was ate completely up by mosquitoes. Horrible beds, might as well slept on the floor. Disgusting bathrooms. There was no water to even drink. Walked to the beach to clear my head, was came at by everyone on the island selling this that or the other. That is not a protected resort. I had to walk to a bodega to charge my phone in order to call Expedia to get tf out of this hell hole. DO NOT STAY HERE. Please!! If you want to Enjoy any portion of your vacation, I beg of you, DO NOT STAY HERE. You would be better sleeping with the animals on the beach. "

"This was our second stay at Villa Calabash, because we love it so much! The kitchen and living area are spacious with high ceilings and an abundance of light, and the bedrooms and bathrooms are well-equipped and nicely decorated. The pool is a joy! It's shallow, so it stays warm, and is completely private due to the abundance of lush bouganvillea. Location is perfect."

"We love this resort, from its location, beautiful and quiet beach, to it cleanliness, and special the staff friendliness. The staff was welcoming and accommodating right from the moment we checked in. The receptionists, Farzana and Kashiri were very helpful and answered all our questions. Special thanks to Farzana and Kashiri who helping us booking the romantic dinner, sushi at black rocks pool and the lovely massages. We also love the staffs at the bar, breakfast and dinner restaurants, and Kerry and Melinda were really nice and supper supportive. We also appreciate the guest experience manager, Kemlin Charles who was helping us when we forgot our personal items in the room's safe box. Kemlin took time to ship our item back to the US after we checked out the hotel. Many things to list. We definitely be back and stay in Cocobay resort longer in a near future. "

"Great property and location very close to Jolly Harbour and a stones throw from West Coast Village with bars and places to eat. Apartment and pool area lovely.Host very welcoming and shares lots of local knowledge to help you settle in quickly.We had a fantastic stay and are already planning to return."

"I like that the room had a kitchen with an oven so we could cook pizza being there only one night. There’s a couple bars across the street at Jolly Harbour so you’ll hear music till about 10 PM but I’m not sure if it’s every night. Property very rundown, picture show there’s nice lounge chases on the patio for review which there are not. The room was large and comfortable. Steps to the room missing stone, so need to be careful Staff not always on property. Office was closed if you needed anything. Front desk staff didn’t tell us anything about the area. Very unhelpful would not stay here again. "

"Oana and Florent are wonderful! They have a beautiful property tucked on the hillside, overlooking the amazing Antigua waters, and we enjoyed a marvelous week in March on their property. Extremely clean villa, amazing view that is exactly as depicted in photos. Tons of windows allowing the Antigua breeze to flow thru, also air conditioner which we utilized to sleep at night. We chose to rent a vehicle thru the hosts, Oana picked us up and dropped us off at the airport, was stressless and easy! Hosts checked with us before and during our stay to see if there was anything we required (there was not) and provided all the information we required for our stay. (best beaches, restaurants, things to see and directions to the grocery store - about 4 minutes drive away). Simply wonderful villa and hosts, and anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of a resort, this is perfect!"

"The property is ideally situated close to local supermarket and independent restaurants.Jolly Harbour is being developed hugely and everything looks very positive for tourists.The property is a good size and the kitchen/living area is stunning. Obviously Antigua is ideal for outdoor living and the pool area and seating is an advantage.We managed to find the majority of attractions and were guided by the locals.Beaches in the area are stunning.The accommodation comes fully equipped and there were pool towels available too."

"This hotel was amazing. Nestled on a hill between two beaches, the setting and views are stunning. We decided to spend all of our time here as we needed to recharge and it was pure paradise. We spend the early day at Jolly Harbour beach and watched the sunset every day at Valley Church beach. The food was amazing. The staff were lovely. They were quick to respond with anything we needed. George was super friendly and helped us on several occasions. Highly recommend this little Paradise. "
