"We arrived mid October in the middle of a huge storm. The effect of the storm caused a massive dump of seaweed right up to the property and those adjacent. It was impossible to walk along the beach . There was great volume of plastic debris that had washed up with the seaweed. There was no attempts to clear it including a plastic sunbed that was smashed up and half burned by the sea weed.. when the storm abated locals came each morning to fish and left their litter, including plastic behind. "We had a lovely 4 night stay in May, with perfect weather for enjoying the fantastic outdoor room with tub overlooking the water. As others have mentioned in their reviews, the three bedrooms are "open concept" without privacy. The converted apartment includes a "loft" bedroom with a low ceiling and tricky stairs. "The best part of this rental is the location. It’s one of 8 houses (4 on each side of the street). The beach is on one side houses and a private pool on the other. You can sit on the outside porch and see the sea. There is easy parking. And there was a train very close as well. There is a close Conad grocery. A man comes every day (about 11:15) with fresh bread and pastries that he sells out of a white van. The owners of all the houses live below. The top part of all the houses are renters....

"Fabulous property with every amenity needed for a self sufficient stay. Very friendly and professional Umberto met us and talked through the property and local area. Lovely setting with terrace,sun loungers, table and chairs and even a BBQ if needed. Great if travelling as had full kitchen and even a washing machine. "The apartment was on the ground floor with 2 bedrooms a lounge and a kitchen dinner, and an sheltered outside eating area (which we used all the time). We had a wonderful 2 weeks here. The apartment could do with a dish washer. The landlady was wonderful although she does not speak English, she did bring us fresh fruit twice and made traditional Sicilian biscuits on another day. Highly recommend."

Great Family Holiday
"We've just got back from a great family holiday at the Palladium Resort & Spa Sicily. We chose to stay at the hotel each day and enjoy the sun, pool with the children rather than venture out and the resort offered us a good mix of both relaxing by the pool and extra activities for the children. The kids club and area was great for our youngest and our eldest also enjoyed a few hours there making the most of the art supplies. If you would like to eat at one of the other restaurants on site you do need to be quick to book on arrival. However we found the buffet restaurant worked well for us with the children and with a different themed night each evening we didn't feel we missed out not eating at the other venues. Thank you to all the staff for being happy as well as helpful. The holiday was just what we needed and we would highly recommend the resort !! "
