"The property is close to downtown La Fortuna. It's right off the main road, which I loved. There's a security guard at the gate at all times. This made us feel safe. The rooms were spacious and fully stocked with bathroom toiletries, minie fridge and coffee maker. No microwave however. The breakfast was buffet style with many fruit options and pastries. It also had an omelet station. We enjoyed it very much. The whirlpool hot tub was amazing! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We truly felt welcomed and enjoyed our stay very much. I highly recommend staying here when in town."

"The resort staff knew us by name and were genuinely concerned with our happiness. The food was fresh and delicious from the buffet breakfast to the poolside dining or the sushi restaurant. The beds were comfortable and rooms nice and dark as well as quiet for a good night’s rest after an active day exploring the grounds. We had a blast river tubing and sitting in the springs as well as having smores by the firepit. The wildlife animal tour was incredible. Will definitely return."

We also loved how close the hotel is to town. It was just a short drive to great restaurants, shops, and activities, yet still felt secluded and quiet. From the beautiful grounds to the attentive staff and excellent amenities, Lomas del Volcán exceeded our expectations.
