"The apartment hotel is a new building in a suburban residential area. Staff is very friendly and helpful. There is a good restaurant called Brothers nearby which serves gyros and other Greek meals and is frequented by locals. There is a mini mart and a couple of bakeries as well on the same street. There is ample street parking so it is a good location for those renting vehicles to explore Crete. We visited Knossos and Matala Beach but did not have time to visit the Old Town of Heraklion. "We loved our holiday staying at this accommodation. It was just perfect for our family to stay in for a couple of weeks. With great access to the beach, just a stone's throw away. The house is small but has all the amenities you need. Situated in the little fishing village of Tsoutsouras which is very beautiful with lots of traditional tavernas and beaches. "Very friendly and hospitable host, nothing too much trouble, excellent recommendations for eating out, any problems were sorted. Spectacular views of mountains and surrounding countryside. Could even pick out The Palace of Faistos across the valley. Super pet friendly,( dogs and cats were adorable and no trouble).
