"The pool was closed and has been for some time as they are rebuilding it. This was not advertised when booking nor was it communicated to us afterwards. Bike hire and meals also need to be arranged the day before , again this wasn't communicated to us when booking or when speaking to the reception on the phone prior to arriving. It's a lovely village but I think it's not ok to advertise facilities that aren't available as this was a big reason why we chose it. I would definitely go again though...

"My boyfriend and I stayed here and absolutely LOVED it. The room was clean, and spacious, and we had a outdoor deck with a view of the pool. The staff was very helpful, and I loved that there was a bar/cafe. The hotel is about a 10 minute bolt of Lagos city center, but we liked that because it felt more relaxing and less busy. I highly recommend staying here!"

"The rooms were spacious and it’s so nice to have easy parking. If you’re stopping by for tennis, the courts definitely need to be upgraded. Nice big pools though a little cool for my liking."

Aqualuz Lagos by The Editory

"This is our 8th stay at Aqualuz since 2009 and we obviously love coming back as it ticks all the boxes for us. We started coming as a couple and now as a family of 4.
For the second year running we were greeted by Emmanuel at reception who is extremely friendly and helpful along with others within the team who are all accommodating.
The location is great along with the food at the hotel.

"Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. Staff was very helpful upon arrival and provided excellent concierge services, from helping up book a speedboat tour to the Benagil caves, to making a dinner reservation for us at a nearby restaurant, to offering to allow us to continue using the facilities after our check out. Room was very nice, clean and spacious. The balcony was great with the towel rack, which came in handy after a day at the beach. Property is situated right in front of the Praia Dona Ana beach, which is a very picturesque beach. The restaurant upstairs is great - breakfast is delicious with many options and dinner was excellent! The hotel is close enough to the town center / Old Town to walk to. Surrounding area has a quiet and relaxed vibe. Overall loved my stay here and would definitely come back if I visit Lagos again. "
