The room itself was fine and good location. Check in process was only ok- time consuming. You know you are in for noise when they supply earplugs. We had a problem with our room and could not get a hold of anyone- left lights on in our room when we went out but the power was out in our room when returned at 10 pm and still not on when we checked out. Then we noticed a strange smell (sewage) when we found out the shower had backed up (couldn’t take a shower in the morning). Kept sending messages but nobody replied and I want a refund

Lovely place to stay. Very clean and comfortable. There is no staff there, but they are available by phone. We had no trouble getting in and checking in on the automated machine. The location is great.

It was a beautiful building very closed walking distance to main downtown Valencia attractions. Charming Bar/Coffee places near by. Very closed to shopping mall Corte Ingles. Highly recommended

Great B&B for a quick stop in the city. Close distance to the historic district, good dining option available around. Clean and well maintained, check in process was also easy, although there are no clerks and one needs to use a check-in machine to get keys.

The room was exactly how pictured- it was in a great location and was a nice classic Spanish building on a nice park. The self check in was easy and communication was easy with the hotel. Definitely a great and affordable option :)

Great location, the pod coffee and fridge were great. Ringing the hotel was fine to gain access to the hotel. Need to ensure you pick the correct language on the check-in machine as there are no people there.

The check in was smoothly but because someone was on the way out of the establishment and opened the front door. If not we would have been stuck outside because we needed to call a number and we have international phone numbers and were unable to call and this number is not available through whatsapp. Once inside check in was smooth. We never saw any staff members. Once inside the room we noticed that the air conditioning wasn’t working. The room didn’t feel stuffy but there was no air conditioning as promised on the listing. We contacted the property through Expedia messages and they never responded and just sent the instructions for check out. The head board had hairs stuck to it and we could tell that it hadn’t been cleaned. Apart from that the bed looked mostly clean. At first sight the bathroom looked clean and very spacious. But when taking a closer look the shower was dirty and had black spots on the ground. Again at first sight the building was pretty but when looking at the walls and ceilings it was falling apart. The elevator seemed like it was going to fall so we just sent out bags up and walked up the stairs. In the room you could hear EVERYTHING from everywhere. Someone taking a shower, people just passing outside your room and everything that the upstairs neighbors were doing. My friend and I started coughing after a couple minutes of being inside the room and before going to bed we took allergy medication. The next day we decided to book another hotel.

We stayed in the ‘superior double room’ and couldn’t fault our stay! The room was really spacious and had everything we needed - huge king bed, storage including a desk and open wardrobe, tv and fridge, en suite bathroom. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The self check-in process was quite straightforwards - I would recommend having all the information to hand ready for check in as we were scrolling trying to remember the steps, but that was our fault! The building is in a fantastic location and we couldn’t believe that we were so close to lots of great shops, bars, cafes and bakeries and barely five minutes walk from the cathedral square. It is a noisy road because of the location, but this didn’t bother us as we took ear plugs. A great stay in central Valencia for a really reasonable price - thanks!
