The apartment is located near a bus and a light rail station. There are also several coffee and pastry shops in the area, as well as markets and convenience stores. The neighborhood is quaint, perfect for feeling like a local for a few nights.
The apartment itself was very clean and organized when we arrived. The amenities were as advertised, with enough kitchen utensils and appliances to live comfortably for a week (including laundry machines) although the place itself is not as well illuminated as the pictures show.
The first downside of the apartment is the key box to access it: it is positioned at an awkward angle to access and view from the street, so opening the key lock from the street the first time was inconvenient and difficult.
Most importantly, the bathroom filtration (mentioned in other reviews) was not fixed. The walls were painted over to mask the issue, but water would drip from within the wall often, pooling on the concrete floor, and getting absorbed into the bathroom door and wall. After a day, despite leaving the bathroom fan and AC running, the place smelled musty, and fruit flies started emerging from the wall. After contacting the owner, they mentioned the issue could not be fixed right away, and we were not offered any reimbursement.
Despite the low lodging price, I would not recommend staying here until the filtration issue is confirmed to be fixed.
