"The hotel is AMAZING so are the staff!! The room had a beautiful view of the ocean and pool. The swallows were so cute flying around the greenery. The pool was great! Every 2 chairs had an umbrella. We went down to the beach but you have to reserve chairs and pay for them which we didn’t not so we sat on the sand for a little while. They have 4 restaurants which we only went to 2 we had buffet breakfast that had a lot to choose from and. Are at the Italian restaurant 2x food is excellent and Rita is the sweetest! All in all it’s ***** Much needed beach relax after site seeing Lisbon and Porto"

"The staff was wonderful, as was the restaurant food and the facilities. Of all the locations at which my wife and I stayed during three weeks in Europe, the Dom Jose was the cleanest and most comfortable. Rui, who worked the front desk, was great, as were all of the staff. The only complaint was that there was no on-site parking, which meant paid parking near the beach or parking a distance from the hotel. Otherwise, we'd visit again."

"The resort is beautiful and has private access to the beach which is beautiful. The breakfast was wonderful, lots of variety and worth the money, it sets you up for the day. The staff were lovely. welcoming and friendly, there is always someone to help at the reception desk. Free shuttle into old town"

"Gorgeous 5 days ,i was recuperating from a hip replacement 5 weeks before, i had my hip destroyed by Covid and my surgery had already been cancelled twice that summer because i got Covid in June ,3 days before my original operation. In summary we were desperate for a short flight,my husband wanted to join a tennis camp. Everyone, Everyone was so love,in particular our driver Jose,a complete gentleman. It was incredibly relaxing even though it tortured me not being able to swim. 2 comments,Well is crazy overpriced food and not brilliant, a caeser salad for 20l8 euro,crazy. Smash was beautiful, elegant staff and well priced delicious food,Montys staff also lovely. We were really impressed guys . The major thing, i was on 2 crutches as a young man after major surgery and the access to the Well was terrible but the worst was the awful smelly dark toilet in Well. No changing rooms,ot always smelled it was dark and Well pool and bar etc is really expensive. You guys need to sort thst out. We met loads of people with plenty of money who chose Smash instead! Staff in smash elegant and food half the price and lovely toilets "

"Lovely quiet hotel, great food and choice. Even in busy times the restaurant is well managed. Good to have a choice of swimming pools also and we always got a sunbed in the patio pool. "

"Just need to improve the pool decking I went over on my ankle twice due to loose boards but great hotel apart from that sorry to have to mention it but it’s an accident waiting to happen "
