"The pool and sauna hours for the hotel were relatively long so that was helpful because after a day out, you can use them. The sauna was well maintained and even included a shower. The hotel staff were helpful but had very short working hours so always had to wait full day to ask a question if anything happened in the evening. Overall very good experience, highly recommend if you're driving, if not its a bit hard in terms of accessibility as public transport services to the hotel finish by half...

"My daughter and I stayed 3 nights.... The hotel is a great place to stay! The room was very quiet and provided lots of space to spread out and enjoy anytime spent in the room! A mini kitchen was perfect for a few quick meals (with a small grocery just 1 block away!). Would be nice if the hotel had a towel in the kitchen for drying the dishes though. The hotel was just 3 blocks for the seaside which was a quick walk. Staff were great. Would recommend and would definitely stay there again."

"Very well-equipped holiday apartment with comfortable beds. Friendly front desk. Walking distance to many restaurants along the waterfront, and to public buses up on the hill. The building is older and feels a bit like a hospital or old people's residence, with swinging fire doors and dim lighting in the corridors. There was a slight fishy smell in the unit due to the general humidity. Bring your own toilet paper! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return."

"The property was great, unfortunately they stuck us right above the pool which was being repainted. the fumes from the resin were making us sick. They put a sign in the lobby the day the pool was being worked on to apologize for the awful toxic smell. No advanced warning whatsoever. It is more like residential buildings, looked very creepy and unsafe. "Building is beautiful in a fantastic location with the town centre being only a few minutes walk away. The apartment is spacious, clean and boasts a coffee machine and aircon throughout. We can’t thank our host enough for all he did for us throughout our stay! Awesome hotel location, friendly staff!!
"The hotel location was perfect! Across from the Promenade, a block from our morning cafe latte & chocolate croissant. Our room faced the city (actually another building) which was very quiet & appreciated. The check-in staff was very friendly, helpful (my son had a bad cold, she helped us find a Chemist that was open on Sunday). They could not have been nicer. We took the #12 bus to/from the airport - so easy! Drops you off 2 min. from the hotel. Restaurants everywhere - the beach across the street, the train is a 12min walk, straight back from the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay her again!! Thank you to all the Le Royal Team!!"
