"We had a fantastic stay, the house has so much character and charm, and we really felt at home. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen, chilling out in the lovely pool, which has the most amazing views of the Tuscan countryside, and using the house as a base for fantastic day trips to towns like Volterra, Sienna or Lucca. "We had a great 5 days in tuscany, shame the weather wasn’t onside for the last few days. The outside restaurant near to the villa was lovely, great food and great views. The 5 course dinner cooked by a chef for our special anniversary was arranged by the host and it was fantastic. The extra special touches were really thoughtful and thoroughly appreciated. It was disappointing that the room was hot and stuffy even with air-conditioning on (temp 24.5 degrees). We opened the balcony doors which helped however let insects in.
