"Gorgeous room, amazing breakfast, beautiful location and the staff did an incredible job making us feel welcome. They knew us after being there for only a few hours. "Overall we had a great holiday in this house. But there were a few issues: very strong musty / damp smell which slowly dissipated over the week. Cupboards full of owners stuff, other people's toiletries and hair grips etc in the bathroom. The owner agreed to provide bedding but there wasn't enough,. Fortunately we found some more under the eaves of the house. There were no duvet covers but we managed with sheets and blankets. The mattresses were old and stained, not very comfortable. But the bedding we found was clean. The light in the kitchen didn't work, we had to change the bulb. The room in the basement was cold and damp. Fortunately we didn't need to use it. The other bedrooms were good. The garden was so overgrown you couldn't use it but there is a nice concrete area round the house with chairs and table. It was lovely eating outside looking over to the mountains. The view and location are stunning and the chalet has a very cosy, traditional feel. Remember to bring basic supplies such as loo roll etc. "
