We have enjoyed the brunch at Ludwigs for years, but this time we anchored our stay at the Sonnenalp. The beauty and coziness of the property and the rooms were exceptional. Service levels on the property and daily for our room were superior. The whole atmosphere is one of welcome, comfort and European excellence. This fall stay is going to become a routine

Our children and grandchildren live in the Vail Valley.We stayed here for each of their deliveries, and we always stay here when we visit. This is a wonderful hotel, run by a family of German immigrants for I believe 4 generations.The property is excellent, their in-house restaurants are superb, and the pool and spa are great. Very child friendly. Highly recommended.

The Sonnenalp is truly a luxury experience - and the photos online do not do the property justice. The property and rooms are beautiful, well-maintained, and the perfect setting for a stay in Vail. It is in an excellent location, with plenty of bars, shops, and restaurants in walking distance. We stayed in the summertime for a short stay after our wedding, and the staff truly made the stay special. The pool area is along the creek and is an incredibly serene and relaxing setting. We loved everything about the Sonnenalp - highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at the Sonnenalp Hotel and couldn't have been happier with our experience. * The Room: Absolutely awesome—spacious, beautifully maintained, and spotlessly clean throughout. * Dining: The breakfast was top-tier with incredible quality and variety to start the day. * Service: The entire staff was incredibly helpful, attentive, and welcoming from check-in to check-out. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit!

The resort is at the river and in the town. They provide a warm welcome with a valet service for the car. The staff is very helpful. The breakfast buffet is extraordinary. You have always fresh water bottles in the room. For lunch and dinner, the bully ranch is more than an option. Ideal for some days of relaxation with a in- and outdoor pool, jacuzzis, gym and sauna.
